Career Summary
Prior to joining Equity Commercial Real Estate Mr. Zepecki spent more than 25 years working in local government, economic and community development and association management. He served as a top assistant to former County Executive William O'Donnell for eleven years and was an elected County Board Supervisor from 1992-97. During that period he also served as Chairman of the Milwaukee County Research Park Corporation where he led negotiations to secure financing for the park's infrastructure and helped establish the groundwork for the Research Park's successful development. Mr. Zepecki also served as Milwaukee County's Director of Economic Development from 1997-2002. In that capacity he worked with a local development firm to establish the Mitchell International Business Park, helped establish a grant program to assist with the revitalization of brownfield sites, and led County planning efforts for the Park East freeway corridor and County Grounds in Wauwatosa. Mr. Zepecki also has been involved in the construction industry, having served in executive level positions for three local construction contractor associations.
Mr. Zepecki joined Equity Commercial Real Estate in June, 2006. He has been involved in the listing, sale and leasing of office, retail and industrial space throughout metro Milwaukee, and is spearheading Equity's marketing of the City of Whitewater Business Park in Walworth County.
Education
Mr. Zepecki attended the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee, and received a Bachelor of Science in Management degree from Cardinal Stritch University.
